What is editable?
Add, edit, move, or delete all text and photos. All slides, text and photo collages can be copied and pasted and moved around to create as many slides and photos as needed.
Can I add music to the slideshow?
Yes. From the editor side panel, click the Audio tab. Scroll through the categories or use the search bar. Click on a track to add it to your design. Or upload you own music by selecting the Uploads tab.
Can I add my own video to the slideshow?
Yes. From the editor side panel, select the Uploads tab. Select Upload media, and choose the videos that you want to upload. Select on an uploaded video to add it to your design.
How many photos can I add?
This template includes 20 photo collages, with space for over 130 photos in total. You can also add or delete photo spaces to suit how many you'd like to include.
Can I add more slides?
Yes, all slides can be duplicated to create as many additional slides as you need.
What size are the slides?
On screen show (16:9).
Can I edit transitions, timings and animation?
Yes. This template includes a dissolve transition on all slides after 9 seconds, which you can also adjust in Canva if you'd like a different timing or effect.
How do I download and play the finished slideshow?
You can play the Canva slideshow on a computer, tablet or phone. Once finished, download it as an MP4 video file directly from Canva, which you can then email to family and friends, share online via a link, or save to a USB drive to play at the service. If you want to play it on a large screen at the funeral service, you may need to check what facilities (laptop, connecting cables, screen etc.) the funeral home or venue have.
Can I use this template for more than one funeral?
This template comes with a personal licence for a single family's use. If you're a funeral director or business looking to create slideshows for multiple clients, take a look at our commercial licence subscription instead.
